Blue Valley Ranch Christmas – 2014
Merry Christmas from Blue Valley Ranch!
It’s that time of year again, when Blue Valley Ranch turns on its annual Christmas lights display. While putting this many lights up by Thanksgiving takes a few weeks of hard labor every year, it is still a much anticipated tradition for the ranch staff as well as the local community. Special thanks to Josh Richert for the great pictures this year.
The view from Highway 9 is always spectacular, as it has been in the past.
The only problem with the ranch’s long-time tradition of putting up Christmas lights is that every year it gets a little more difficult. Many of these trees were only 6-8 feet tall 10 years ago!
While the gate at the ranch entrance has been the main event in years past, it was simplified a little this year, and the nativity scene was moved up the hill to accompany it.
Even the bridge over the Blue River received a little decoration this year.
A Merry Christmas and prosperous New Year to all from the staff at Blue Valley Ranch!
