Guide to Birds of Blue Valley Ranch – 1st Edition

Blue Valley Ranch’s wildlife biologist has just completed the first edition of the Blue Valley Ranch Guide to Birds.  To the right you can find two versions of the guide available for download in PDF format.  One is a rather large file, 14 MB, with higher resolution photos, while the other is much smaller, a little under 4 MB.  Either one gives a great overview of the bird species that can be viewed on Blue Valley Ranch throughout the year.  All photos are by Josh Richert, unless otherwise noted.

Getting these great photos of birds is not easy, and Josh is continually adding to his photo library.  As he gets photos of more species, he will update the guide, so be sure to look for future editions.
