2015 2nd Quarter Wildlife Report
Blue Valley Ranch’s Wildlife Report for the 2nd quarter of 2015 is out! It has been a rather crazy spring, with far above average rainfall in May, followed by practically no precipitation in June, and a range of flows in the Blue River from as low as 200 CFS to 2,200 CFS.
Some highlights of the report include some great sharptail grouse photos, sandhill cranes, a very healthy looking bear, and a lunar eclipse!
Special thanks to ranch wildlife biologist Josh Richert for the report and photos.
